"You're wrong. You're wrong about most things, but especially this," says Megatron, his EM field scornful and amused, as if Ratchet had just denied the vastness of space. "Soundwave and I, we will never leave each other."

Notes: The casettes as Soundwave’s children, Cybertronians as not having an analogous concept to human romance, QPR undertones, open-ish(?) ending, unresolved emotional tension, Soundwave talks a lot and in standard English, the blockquote in the summary does not show up in the actual fic.

While I don't think the Jedi handle Anakin's situation terribly well, I reject the idea that Anakin sees the Order as another form of slavery. Pardon my opinion, but if Anakin can leave without a bomb detonating inside of him, he thinks he's free. Poor boy doesn't have high standards.

I also think Anakin is actually free while in the Order, but for more reasons than that.
